What's the point of having guards to discipline us student in UNITEN when they (guards) don't even have the sense of moral and manners?
I just happened to come across this rather rude security guard at the main entrance and happened to the victim as well. I would not want to elaborate on what the details of that dude was shouting about but here was part of what the hell he shouted at 2 students on Friday
"Oi pundek!" and " Oi babi"
OK lets get to the to the point. The first one technically has a meaning of calling you a student a f***er and the second one is calling you a pig or indirectly calling you a f***er as well. The first one was used on an Indian student while the second one was used a Chinese student. So what's next? If there is already one for both Chinese and Indian, there should be another one which would be "pukimak" which I supposed would be used on a Malay student by any means and mind you that guard who shouted those two explicit words above is not a local Malaysian guard but a foreign guard.
OK let's put it in a way that these guards are your guardians in UNITEN (who will take care of your wellbeing and at the same time destroying your joy of studying there) calling you a f***er out loud in front of many other students. How would you feel? Degraded right?
Imagine your parents or guardian or anyone elder than you are calling you a f***er...
Come on, UNITEN is one of few reputable, prestigious and respected private universities around in Malaysia and having such guards in university to take care of the security there and yet they use words like BABI, PUKIMAK and PUNDEK on the students there (which is like calling you a f***er). Doesn't it spoils the good name of a university with that kind of good reputation? Come on, the management should do something about it...
*Disclaimer* This post was never meant to degrade the university but only the means of my own opinion. Should there be anything in which I have offended anyone, I sincerely apologise beforehand.
