Good Bye 2008, Welcome 2009

Year 2008 has been an exhilarating year and it has started with a bang and of course it's surely gonna end with another bang. With a blink of an eye, it's already at the end of the year. Much has been gained and much has been lost too in terms of time.
A new year means a new chapter in life and a new journey ahead.

Round up for the Year

This year, I had had plenty of ups ans downs regardless of the time of day, week, month or the year. Countless times actually. But nevertheless, I've learnt to face problems, trouble and crisis like a man and take them on. Part of my weaknesses I have taken it to be an opportunity in every way what seem to have worked out, worked out, and what seem to fail I never left it to fail entirely.

It was an experience this year as I didn't have a chance to spend my 2008 New Year and my 18th birthday at home with my family and friends as I had been away for 3 months for National Service. But from there, I've learnt to overcome all my emotions of sadness and spend it with some new friends which I've found in camp. It was a great experience to celebrate New Year and birthday without my family and my close friends.

Next was working :lol: OK it was fun working but nevermind about the pay although it was quite low. However it was substantial to the working experience I've gain from the corporate working world. Learning how to handle quite an amount of workload and to cope with the demands of collegues and bosses was something I'll never forget. Again friends were made in my term of working with IKEA and thank you so much for that opportunity! Kudos!

And then there was a driving test. Failing on the road was rather funny for me as I expected myself to pass in one go but oh well... Let it be... I'll definitely remember that officer in the car with me whom actually indirectly asked me for bribe in order to pass. Sorry sir, I wouldn't pay you and money just to pass. I wanna pass my driving with honour and pride and not by bribing... At the end of the day, I pass with great points, 19/20 and I supposed, it was actually 20/20 (just because they couldn't give perfect score).

Here comes to the part where life is a process of learning and yes it is all the time. Enrolling in a institution of higher learning is indeed a great turning point in my academia and yes I am studying in a field I favour. I feel proud of myself and on behalf of my old folks that I've have made it to one of the few pretigious local private universities which is University Tenaga Nasional, UNITEN. A beautiful campus with a complete range of facilities there but not enough chinese girls :P Alright cut that part out as I am there to persue in higher education and not into courting girls there as I already have one :) Need not to elaborate more but I'll jump straight into the awesome but somehow tiring and not-enough-sleep one week of orientation and then the start of a new semester and then comes to 1st semester final examinations and now, half way through the 2nd semester which is freaking me out because of my current very discouraging grades in which my academic advisor and my lecturers told me to buck up and re-proritized my time again... Stressful don't you think? But oh well I'll have to do my best and work double or maybe triple times harder to maintain my last semester's grades.

Finally it comes to moving on along with my lovely girl whom I was and still with together stronger than ever. Thank you so much for your tender love and care and also kindness. Thanks for bringing a change in my life from a hot tempered person to a mild tempered person and lots more.

Not forgetting, thanks to my mommy and daddy and big brother for supporting me all the way in every possible way they could. Thanks for all these 18 years for taking care of me and also for loving, caring and also reminding me for the good and bad things in every decision I make. You bring a whole new chapter in my life every time in my life. There is still a long way for me to learn from all of you and I'll do my best in everything I persue in and not disappoint any of you. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH.

So now comes a new year, Year 2009, means there will be a new New Year Resolution and new journey in my 19th year. So lets rejoice and thank god for all the goodness and the wholesome of year of 2008 and ushe the year 2009 ahead of us.
